Timber supplies Perth
Timber supplies in Perth, from the frame to the skirting, delivered to site with the doors.
Integrity Building Materials is a timber supplier in Perth without a yard: structural framing pine, LVL beams and lintels, treated pine, and Hume's skirting, architrave and moulding ranges, priced as one order and delivered to site at the stage that needs them. Supply only, and the finishing timber goes on the same list as the doors it sits against.

Why order timber this way
Every Perth timber yard sells you the timber. None of them sells it with the doors.
Eight merchants with yards own the timber search in Perth, and they are good at yards. What they do not do is put the skirting, the architraves, the jambs and the doors for the same rooms on one order in one profile family, delivered at fix stage. That is the whole point of one account for the build.
Mouldings ordered with the doors
Door, jamb, architrave and skirting from the same supplier in the same family. No Colonial architrave meeting a Classic skirting because two deliveries came from two yards.
Framing to the engineer's schedule
MGP pine, F-grade hardwood, LVL depths and lengths supplied to the schedule as written, treated to the class the position needs. No substitutions you find out about on site.
Delivered to the stage, not the yard
Frame stage gets the framing, fix stage gets the mouldings. Timber does not sit on site through a fortnight of rain because it all came at once.
Skirting boards & architraves Perth
Skirting boards, architraves and mouldings Perth
Skirting boards are the most searched timber product in Perth and the one no timber yard puts in a heading. Integrity distributes Hume Doors & Timber's moulding ranges: five families that cover a paint-grade house lot, a stain-grade feature room and the external trim, in the profiles Perth builders actually fix. Colonial and Classic for period and project homes, Berkley and splayed profiles for a cleaner line, DAR where the skirting is a plain dressed board, and bullnose and bevel where the spec calls for them.
The finish decides the range. Pre-primed finger-jointed pine for most rooms, HMR MDF where the painter wants a glass-flat wall line, solid Meranti where the grain is on show, and H3-treated PinetrimXT for anything the weather reaches.

| Hume range | What it is | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| Pinetrim Plus | Finger-jointed radiata pine, pre-primed and ready to paint. Hume's standard skirting and architrave range, made to be defect-free so the painter is not filling knots. | Internal skirting, architraves, most of the house lot. |
| PinetrimXT | Finger-jointed, glue-laminated radiata pine treated to H3 with LOSP, pre-sanded, primed and undercoated. | Anything external or exposed: chamfer boards, weatherboards, external mouldings and structural trim. |
| Silktrim MDF | Moisture-resistant HMR MDF with an advanced priming system and low formaldehyde emissions (E0). | Skirtings, architraves, door jambs and lining boards where a dead-flat paint finish matters. |
| Meranti | Solid Meranti mouldings with a fine, even grain that takes a stain or clear finish. | Interior mouldings, panelling, joinery, window frames and door jambs where the timber is meant to be seen. |
| The Millyard Collection | Primed pine profiles for period and feature detailing. | Wainscoting, chair rail and skirting on the rooms that get the detail. |
Structural pine & hardwood
Framing timber, graded to the schedule
Wall frames in Perth are machine-graded pine, MGP10 for most studs, plates and noggins in 90 x 35 and 90 x 45, with MGP12 where the span table asks for it. Bearers, beams and anything carrying real load move to F-graded hardwood, F14 and F17, or to LVL. The engineer's schedule sets the grade, the size and the length, and the order is supplied to it as written.
Treatment is the other half of the spec, and the part that goes wrong when a yard substitutes. Internal frames are H2 treated against termites. Anything outside, above the ground, is H3. Anything in the ground is H4 or H5. The table below is the whole rule.
| Class | Where it goes | What it is for |
|---|---|---|
| H2 | Inside, above ground | Protected from weather, treated against termites and borers. Internal wall frames and floor framing in termite areas. |
| H3 | Outside, above ground | Weather-exposed but not in the ground. Fascia, external mouldings, pergola beams, decking joists off the ground. |
| H4 | In the ground or in contact with it | Fence posts, garden edging, pergola posts set in the ground. |
| H5 | In the ground or fresh water, structural | Retaining walls, house stumps, piles, anything critical in wet ground. |
LVL beams & lintels Perth
LVL, explained once, then supplied to the schedule
Three Perth timber sites list LVL and none of them say what it is. Laminated veneer lumber is thin timber veneers glued under heat and pressure into a beam: straighter than sawn timber, stronger for its size, and consistent from one length to the next, which is why engineers specify it for lintels over garage doors and wide openings, floor and roof beams, long-span rafters and joists, and the I-joists that replace deep solid timber under a floor.
It comes in standard depths and long lengths, cut to the schedule, and it needs the same H-class treatment as the frame around it where it is exposed. Send the engineer's beam schedule with the framing order and the LVL, the hangers and the fixings it calls for go on the same list.
Meranti, lining & stain-grade timber
The timber that gets seen
Not every moulding gets painted. Meranti DAR, dressed all round, is the stain-grade standard for door jambs, window reveals, panelling and trim where the grain is meant to show, and Hume's Meranti range covers the mouldings and the lining boards to match. On a heritage job or a feature wall, it is the difference between joinery and trim.
Lining boards, VJ panelling and the rest of the seen timber come through the same order, and so does the jarrah or hardwood a Perth renovation sometimes has to match. Tell us what the room is doing and the timber follows.
How it works
How to order timber for a build
Three steps, one point of contact from the first email to the truck.
- 01
Send the schedule or the list
Framing sizes, grades and lengths from the engineer's schedule. Lineal metres of skirting and architrave by profile and room, the door count for the jambs, LVL depths and lengths. If you are still choosing profiles, send a photo of the existing skirting and we match it.

One price, framing to finishing timber
Structural pine, LVL, jambs, skirting, architraves and mouldings on one list, priced as one order by one person. And if the doors are on the same job, they go on the same order.
- 03
Delivered to site, to programme
Framing at frame stage, mouldings at fix stage, delivered across Perth, Western Australia so nothing sits on site through a fortnight of weather. Need it installed? We link you in with install teams we work with.
We supply across Perth, Western Australia, delivered to site, with a sister operation in Queensland. Residential and commercial builders and carpenters are most of the order book. Owner-builders can order the same timber, and if you need it fixed, we link you in with install teams we work with.
Straight answers
Timber in Perth, the questions we get asked
If yours is not here, send it through and you will get an answer from the person who prices the orders.
What is the difference between H2 and H3 treated pine?
The H number is the hazard class the treatment is rated for. H2 is for inside, above ground: protected from the weather, treated against termites. H3 is for outside, above ground: fascia, external trim, joists off the ground, anything that gets wet but is not in the soil. H4 goes in the ground. Put the wrong class outside and the warranty and the timber both fail.
Are Hume skirting boards MDF or pine?
Both, and you choose by the finish and the room. Pinetrim Plus is finger-jointed radiata pine, pre-primed. Silktrim is moisture-resistant HMR MDF with E0 emissions and a factory primer, which gives the flattest paint finish. Meranti is solid timber for a stain or clear finish. All three come through Integrity in the standard profiles.
Can I order skirting and architraves with my doors?
Yes, and it is the point of the account. The doors, jambs, architraves and skirting for the same rooms are ordered as one list and arrive together at fix stage, in the same profile family, so the carpenter is not matching a Colonial architrave to a Classic skirting because two suppliers sent two things.
What is LVL and where is it used?
Laminated veneer lumber: thin timber veneers glued under pressure into a beam that is straighter, stronger and more consistent than sawn timber of the same size. It is used for lintels over openings, floor and roof beams, rafters and joists in long spans. The engineer specifies the depth and the length; send the schedule and the LVL goes on the order with the framing.
What framing timber do Perth builders use?
Machine-graded pine, MGP10 as the everyday wall frame stud and plate, in 90 x 35 and 90 x 45, treated to H2 inside and H3 where the frame is exposed. F-graded hardwood, F14 and F17, where a bearer or a beam needs the strength. The engineer's schedule sets the grade; we supply to it.
Is primed pine skirting suitable for wet areas?
For a bathroom or laundry, Silktrim HMR MDF is the moisture-resistant option, and either way the painter seals every cut end and the back before it goes on. For anything that gets rained on, it is PinetrimXT, which is H3 treated as well as primed. Standard primed pine is for dry rooms.
What is Meranti DAR?
Meranti is a Southeast Asian hardwood with a fine, even grain, and DAR means dressed all round: planed smooth on all four faces. Meranti DAR is the go-to stain-grade timber for jambs, panelling, trim and window reveals where the grain is meant to be seen rather than painted over.
Do you deliver timber to site in Perth?
Yes. There is no yard to visit: framing, LVL and mouldings are delivered to site across Perth, staged to the programme, framing at frame stage and mouldings at fix stage. Tell us the site access and whether it needs a crane unload, and the delivery is booked around that.
How do I match existing skirting on a renovation?
Send a photo of a short offcut with a tape measure across it, front and end-on. Most Perth skirting is one of a handful of profile families, Colonial, Classic, Splayed, Bullnose, Bevel, in 67 to 140mm heights, and Hume runs the common ones. Where it is a discontinued profile, the closest match is usually within a millimetre and disappears under paint.
